Lose weight & keep it off
One of the biggest health issues for overweight people is visceral (or abdominal) fat. Visceral fat is the fat tissue between the organs in the abdomen. It is a major health concern because there is a strong correlation between high levels of visceral fat and the incidence of cardiovascular diseases, such as heart disease, hypertension and diabetes.
In a clinical study conducted over 6mo, comparing groups that used a) Diet, b) Diet & traditional fitness training, c) Diet & Power Plate training, and d) those that made no changes, the Power Plate group lost and maintained the weight loss of over 10%. The main difference between the Power Plate group and other groups is in the decrease of visceral fat that occurred. The Power Plate group lost 2x as much visceral fat after 6mo, when compared to the traditional exercise and diet groups. The decrease in visceral fat also remained the same level in the Power Plate group after 12 months, while the diet and traditional groups returned to their original values after 12 months.
